I am Josepha Phillips, Youth Educator for THCP. Born in the Netherlands in 1957, I moved to the US in 1995. I began riding horses when I was 6 and have been riding ever since. I won the Dressage Dutch Nationals in 1976 Level M, on a very unlikely (and unliked by some) horse….

Horses and art are my passion. I have worked with other unusual horses to prove that you don't need a bay or black warmblood to have a fun and a good sport horse.  I have been very interested in and researching the history of the old breeds ever since I found a young Kiger mustang for myself in 1999. I recently acquired Animado, a Sorraia (a very old breed).
